JEANINE ALLEN
A full-time painter since 200, Allen once worked exclusively in pastels, and has since moved into mixed-media and oils. She makes all of her own painting surfaces, using handmade papers from Japan and around the world, as in Document Sheep. A signature member of the Pastel Society of New Mexico, Allen has won awards at Masterworks of New Mexico, the Pastel Society of New Mexico National Show, and the New Mexico Arts and Crafts Fair. She is represented by the Corrales Bosque Gallery, where she is an owner-member, and Giacobbe-Fritz Gallery. She lives in Santa Fe.
