A Chihuahua mix, sweet old Petey was found by the side of Old Church Road in Corrales, and had been struck by a car or attacked. He was injured and terrified. Petey is very shy, but once he gets to know you, he is a total lovebug. He has recovered and is waiting find someone he can truly trust.

He loves his person deeply and gets along with most dogs, but would do best as an only dog for someone who wants to be with him most of the time. Hand is incredible at Frisbee; he recently had three catches in a row! He is housebroken and well-behaved on leash.

A sweet Mastiff/Sharpei, Quinsy is 3 or 4 and was found by the river in Corrales, alone and scared. He has had some basic training and become a favorite with the walkers for his sweet nature, but he has been waiting for that special someone for a year! Quinsy walks well on leash, is affectionate and well-behaved, but has a high prey drive so he would be best with other medium to large dogs.

This handsome 50-pound boy was rescued from the Roswell shelter. He has an attraction for soft sofas (especially leather) and small dogs. At the top of his wish list is a companion, pure and simple. Mitch has been known to go on walkabouts to make friends, so a wall is important. If you stay home, he will too. One look in his eyes and you will be smitten!
