Prince of Egypt is among the equestrian subjects by Patricia Ann Massengill, a Corrales artist known for her landscapes, florals, horse paintings, religious artwork, and commissioned portraits. Born into the Ford family, she was raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and returned to the U.S. in her teens. Artistic from childhood, she is largely self-taught and has worked in watercolor, graphite, pastel, and oil. She has owned two businesses and lived around the continent, as well as in Europe. Massengill cites the Old Masters among her greatest influences, and is inspired by her Southwest environment.
